Probation Officers from more than 21 offices around the province participated in lunchtime pickets January 12 to protest the employer's offer to the Corrections bargaining unit. The media in many places came out to cover the pickets. Members held signs with the messages, Hands Off Sick Time, Standing United for a Fair Deal, and Probation Officers Matter.
Below is a picture of the Brantford Probation and Parole officers.

The North Bay Four (NB4)
This is a picture of the North Bay Four (NB4) was taken following their brutal day of having to attend the Employer's 'Allegation Hearing.'
The picture is taken at the North Bay Regional OPSEU office where the 4 filed a number of subsequent grievances of their own, i.e.: poisoned work environment, WDHP & H&S grievances.
The black flowers were sent to the NB4 by PPO Jane Van Toen & her colleagues of the Kenora P&P office. They were received today and signify a dark day in Community Corrections. We placed them as a centre piece on the boardroom table where the Allegation Hearings were held today at the North Bay P&P office & they remained there throughout the proceedings as a constant reminder to DRD Lindsay Honsberger and HR Mgr., Ron PICHE that Community Corrections is standing 'Rock Solid' behind the NB4 and the Correction's Team.
